A Tasty Way to Help Food Banks this Fall
Arby's® restaurants across the country are teaming up with their guests to help relieve hunger in Canada.
From September 11 until October 16
, Arby's will collect donations for Food Banks Canada in support of its mission to relieve hunger in Canada every day. The goal of this year's fundraiser is to raise more than $125,000 nationally, surpassing last year's record amount of $90,608.
Guests who donate $1 or more at participating restaurants will receive a pin-up card to sign and hang on the walls of the restaurant to show their support. Arby's restaurants donated 15% of daily sales on September 11 and will do so again on October 16 to help increase funds raised.

Join the Drive with Farm Credit Canada
FCC Drive Away Hunger is one of the largest employee-led food drives in Canada. It’s a way we can all come together to help Canadian food banks help those who go hungry.
Until October 17, FCC will be collecting donations in communities all across Canada by enlisting the help of employees in over 100 FCC offices with 100% of donations directly benefitting Canadian food banks.

Food Banks Canada's Retail Food Program has raised 6 million pounds since its launch
Food Banks Canada’s Retail Food Program, launched in March of 2013 is flourishing thanks to our valued partners
Loblaw Companies Limited, Target Canada and
Walmart Canada. The program’s goal is to increase support to individuals and families in need by matching food banks with local retailers to receive donated surplus food and household products.
“Many food banks struggle to meet the need for a consistent supply of quality food. This program connects local food banks with grocery retail stores across the country. Participating retailers work with local food banks to set aside a mix of fresh, frozen and non-perishable products”  says Jennifer Beesley, Senior Program Coordinator.
