Raif to be flogged again this Friday

Call on Saudi Arabian authorities to reverse this outrageous sentence

Stand strong with Raif Badawi and his family!

Dear friends,

Thank you for continuing to speaking out against the cruel and inhumane punishment of Saudi Arabian blogger, Raif Badawi. You are part of an incredible groundswell of voices around the world who have called out for this sentence to be stopped.
On Friday, Raif is to be publicly whipped another 50 times.
This can't happen again. Over 45,000 people in Canada have already taken action for Raif. We need to continue to keep pressure on the Saudi Arabian authorities to stop the lashes and release Raif to be re-united with his family.

Yesterday in Montreal, Raif's wife Ensaf Haider thanked Amnesty International supporters for taking action to free Raif. This is a very difficult time for Ensaf and her children. The overwhelming response to Raif’s case has made the pain and fear easier to deal with. They know they are not alone.

You can also put direct pressure on the Embassy by making a phone call. Click here for advice.

Send a message of solidarity through twitter to @raif_badawi (Raif’s official Twitter account) and @miss9afi (Ensaf Haider’s account).
I stand with @miss9afi to stop the flogging of @raif_badawi and call on #Saudi authorities to #FreeRaif bit.ly/1w8FduX
